Approximately 30 Researchers Across Around 20 Countries

Md Shimul Bhuia is currently engaged in collaborative research with approximately 30 international researchers across around 20 countries. His collaborators include professors, PhD researchers and scholars, master’s students and independent researchers.

These collaborations involve the exchange of research ideas, development of scientific questions, study planning, methodological contributions, interpretation of findings, scientific writing, manuscript preparation and collaborative publication.

Working across geographical, institutional and disciplinary boundaries has reinforced his view that meaningful scientific collaboration is built around complementary expertise and well-defined research questions rather than geographical proximity alone.

Student Collaboration & Research Mentorship

Supporting university students and emerging researchers across different institutions in Bangladesh.

Alongside his international collaborations, Md Shimul Bhuia has worked with university students and emerging researchers from different institutions across Bangladesh. These collaborations provide opportunities for students to gain practical research experience beyond formal coursework.

His guidance includes research idea development, literature searching, study design, methodology selection, computational investigation, experimental planning, data interpretation, scientific writing and manuscript preparation.

He continues to mentor several ongoing research projects. The objective is not only to complete individual studies, but also to help emerging researchers develop independence, critical thinking, scientific responsibility and confidence in conducting research.

05 • MULTIDISCIPLINARY SCIENCE

Connecting Different Areas of Expertise

Pharmaceutical and biomedical research increasingly requires contributions from multiple disciplines.

His collaborative research spans pharmaceutical sciences, pharmacology, natural products, computational drug discovery, molecular investigation, scientific writing and related biomedical fields. Different collaborators contribute complementary perspectives and methodological strengths according to the needs of individual research questions.

This approach allows projects to move beyond isolated techniques and encourages the integration of experimental, computational and analytical evidence where appropriate.
